Exhibition “The Power of Crystals”
“The Power of Crystals” is a traveling exhibition that has been presented in several locations across Spain, inviting visitors to explore the timeless fascination humans have felt toward crystals, from the earliest hominids to the scientific and artistic frontiers of today.
Born from an original idea by Prof. Juan Manuel Garcia-Ruiz, the concept of this exhibition grew from the desire to show how these remarkable structures have inspired curiosity, advanced science, and shaped artistic and philosophical thought. “The Power of Crystals” invites visitors on an interactive journey through the role of crystals in science, technology, art, and human understanding.

The exhibition was created within the framework of the International Year of Crystallography (2014), declared by the United Nations, recognizing crystallography as the science that has revealed the structure of matter and transformed our understanding of the material world.
