The 35th International Symposium on Chirality (CHIRALITY 2025) will bring together global leaders in the diverse and evolving field of chemical chirality, exploring its impact across biology, pharmacology, spectroscopy, synthesis, separations and materials science.
Among the highlights of this year’s program is a plenary lecture by Prof. Juan Manuel Garcia-Ruiz (Donostia International Physics Center), titled Hadean Protoworlds, which will explore how mineral surfaces may have catalyzed the emergence of prebiotic compounds and biomorphic structures on early Earth, offering new insights into the geochemical origins of life.
📍 Location: New York University, New York City
🗓️ Dates: July 29, 1:30–5:00 PM (UTC4- EDT).
Established in 1991 in Rome, this prestigious series is also home to the annual Chirality Medal, awarded by the International Honorary Committee of the Italian Chemical Society (SCI) to honor outstanding contributions to the field.
